I’ve always been drawn to understanding how people think, cope, and grow under pressure.
My background is in psychology, leadership development, and organisational design, and I’ve spent years working across both large organisations and entrepreneurial environments. What’s always mattered most to me is helping people make sense of complexity and find practical ways forward.
Like many people, life tested that understanding. I lived through the loss of a business during COVID, burnout from trying to hold everything together, and personal grief at the same time as raising a young family. Those experiences deepened my belief that growth can’t be theoretical. It has to work in real life, under real strain.
At Intogreat, I bring both academic rigour and lived experience into the work we do. I care deeply about research, evidence, and practical application, but I care just as much about compassion, humanity, and meeting people where they are.
I live in Cape Town with my family and still believe that curiosity, learning, and a sense of humour go a long way when things feel uncertain.
Velma reminds me that asking thoughtful questions and looking for practical explanations matters. I’m curious by nature, love learning, and tend to be the one people turn to when they’re trying to make sense of something.
